Each market represented at St. Davids is actively looking for new authors! Plus, you will have the opportunity to informally interact with faculty at meals and breaks, as well as make private appointments to present your projects.

Dan Balow is a Literary Agent from The Steve Laube Agency. Much of his experience was with Tyndale House Publishers from the early 90s to the mid-2000s, working with hundreds of authors and thousands of books over a 14-year period. Dan also served on the board of the Evangelical Christian Publisher’s Association, the trade association for Christian publishers in the U.S., and was board chairman of the Global Publishers Alliance, a group of U.S.-based publishing executives involved in mentoring Christian publishers around the world. He was an original member of the advisory board of the Christy Awards (now part of ECPA). He is currently a member of the
international board for Media Associates International.
Dan graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Communications and has been married to Carol for 40+ years. They live in Wheaton, Illinois, and have four grown children and seven grandchildren.


Cindy K. Sproles is a novelist, speaker, and conference teacher. She has served as a managing editor for two publishers and is the executive editor for ChristianDevotions.us. Cindy is a writing coach and mentor with Writing Right Author Mentoring Service (WRAMS) and serves as the director of the Asheville Christian Writers Conference. She travels across the country teaching at women’s conferences, retreats, and writers conferences. Cindy’s devotions are published nationwide, and she is a monthly

Michele Chynoweth is the bestselling author of several award-winning contemporary suspense novels that re-imagine Old Testament stories from the Bible in an edgy, modern-day way, including The Jealous Son which is now being made into a movie! She loves helping writers become authors and is a sought-after conference speaker, professional editor, book coach and founder of “Your Book Done Right” Master Class and Elite Coaching. A former news reporter, ad agency owner and marketing director, she lives with her husband in North East, Maryland.

Owner of Write Now Editing, Karin Beery is a
multi-award-winning author and editor with experience in
traditional and self-publishing, freelance editing, and editing for publishers. She is an active member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, Christian Authors Network, the Christian Proofreaders and Editors Network, and the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors. When she’s not editing or teaching, she writes hopeful fiction with a healthy dose of romance.

Thomas Murosky is a teacher at heart, assisting people with writing & book production, publishing through his own imprint, OWIC Publishing, & instructing about alternative platforms to reach an audience. Tom has a decade of experience designing books for himself and others for self-publishing. He writes Christian Living and Science Fiction.

Anne Waterman Murphy’s award-winning poetry has appeared in Time of Singing, Today’s Christian Woman, Decision Magazine, Alive Now, Christian Communicator, Radix Magazine, Christianity Today and CT’s Creative Culture site: Ekstasis Magazine. She earned a degree in Elementary Education from Gordon College, and has taught in public and private schools. She serves on the Board of Directors for St. Davids Christian Writers’ Conference, where she has taught workshops on poetry and Pinterest and serves on a mentoring team. The widow of a retired pastor, who served in VT and PA for 38 years, her interests include photography, watercolor painting, power tools, reading and helping to lead a book club, schooner trips off the coast of Maine, and enjoying her six grandchildren.

Rebecca Price Janney is a historian and multi-award-winning author of twenty-six books, including her beloved Easton Series, Sweet, Sweet Spirit: One Woman’s Spiritual Journey to the Asbury College Revival, and Great Women in American History. Her latest book, East of the Sun, is a captivating novel about the Korean War.

She began writing professionally at the age of fourteen and by the following year was covering the Philadelphia Phillies. With her love of American history, she earned degrees in that subject from Lafayette College and Princeton Seminary, and a doctorate from Biblical Seminary. Rebecca is a popular speaker and
appears regularly in the media. When she’s not writing or
reading, she enjoys trying new recipes, watching classic movies, taking nature walks, and hanging out with her family and friends. She resides with her husband, son, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley where her
ancestors have lived since the 1740s.
